It is everyone’s dream that they are able to always look young and beautiful. All these can be achieved by the way we treat ourselves and the food that we eat. Our bodies need nutrients to help replicate cells and have increased energy. This also applies to our skins. There a lot of factors that can accelerate ageing which include eating of processed foods, depression, stress and toxic elements. You can protect yourself from these harmful chemical products by observing some of the following procedures:-

Get plenty of sleep

Getting enough sleep can help our bodies to relax especially the muscles and rejuvenate our energy level which is equally important as it will help to maintain a healthy glow of the skin.


Drink Plenty of Water

Drinking plenty of water helps to keep our bodies hydrated. Dehydration can affect our skin in a number of ways including making our skins to look dull, loose and saggy. Hence it is essentially important that we take at least 8 glasses of water every day for a healthier, brighter skin tone.

Eat healthy foods

It is essentially important that we watch what we eat. Healthy foods such as spinach, berries, nuts, green tea are especially good for our bodies including the skin. They have antioxidants which fight diseases and helps reduce inflammation and ageing.

Reduce your exposure to Sunlight

Too much sunlight can damage our skins. It is advisable that you wear sunscreen and wear sunglasses when you’re out in the beach. Small amounts of sun produce Vitamin D but excess exposure can be damaging to our skin.


Use natural skin products

It is essentially important that we watch what we use on our skins as most of the products that are in the shelves have complex chemical composure. When shopping for moisturizers and other make-up kits it is essential that you check on the ingredients of the products you want to buy so as to be on the safe side.

Eat plenty of fruits

Some of the fruits such as Oranges have plenty of Vitamin C which is good for our bodies. Vitamin C helps reduce wrinkles.


Exercise Regularly

Exercise helps relieve stress and increases the Oxygen circulation in our bodies. Through exercise toxins are released through sweat enabling you to have a brighter and firm skin.
